Position Summary
As a key leader on the American Centrifuge Operations, LLC senior management team, the Director of Project Controls plays a pivotal role in driving the success of ACO’s most critical initiatives. This is your opportunity to build and lead a high‑impact Project Controls Organization within the Project Management Office—one that ensures our projects are delivered with excellence, precision, and forward‑thinking strategy.
In this role, you will guide the development of best‑in‑class project management practices, champion a unified project management framework, and equip teams with the tools, training, and systems needed to execute confidently and consistently. You’ll oversee core functions such as project scheduling, baseline management, performance reporting, and earned value analysis—enabling ACO leadership, the Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors to make informed, strategic decisions.
If you’re energized by building strong project cultures, strengthening performance visibility, and empowering teams to deliver on complex, high‑value work, this is a role where you can make a meaningful impact.
What You Will Do
In this role, you’ll elevate ACO’s project performance by shaping and advancing our project management and controls framework. You’ll champion standardized processes and tools, guide development of the Work Breakdown Structure, and lead the implementation of enterprise systems that support cost estimating, scheduling, risk management, and project reporting. You’ll ensure teams are equipped and trained to use these systems effectively.
You’ll oversee how project performance is measured—driving strong Earned Value Management practices, schedule analysis, and variance assessments—and maintain the Performance Measurement Baseline that guides project execution. As a strategic partner to ACO leadership, you’ll help identify cost and schedule risks early, resolve issues proactively, and propose solutions that protect critical timelines. Through consistent oversight of baseline management, change control, and reporting procedures, you’ll ensure that every project is managed with clarity, discipline, and accountability.
