Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced and strategic Director - Project Controls to lead the project controls function within our transport infrastructure projects. In this leadership role, you will oversee project controls activities, ensuring effective management of cost, schedule, risk, and quality for transport-related developments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget, supporting Qiddiya’s vision to create a world-class entertainment and leisure destination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of project control strategies specific to transport infrastructure projects.
  • Manage cost control, scheduling, risk assessment, and performance monitoring to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Direct and mentor the project controls team to uphold best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align project objectives and controls processes.
  • Generate comprehensive reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize project impact.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive utilization of project management software tools such as Primavera P6 and others.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Over 12 years of progressive experience in project controls within transport infrastructure or related sectors.
  • Proven leadership experience leading project control teams on large-scale transport or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, cost control, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Expertise with project controls software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Benefits

  • Minimum of 10-12+ years of experience in project controls and planning, with a strong focus on large-scale construction projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, preferably in the sports or entertainment sector.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software, scheduling tools, and cost control systems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.
  • Experience working in the Middle East is a plus.

Skills Required
