The primary responsibilities for the Program Manager role will be governance, stakeholder management and quality control over a portfolio of active software implementation projects within the Sphera Services organization. The Program Manager will oversee and coordinate multi solution implementations and strategic projects with key customers, ensuring open stakeholder communication, alignment of cross project dependencies and adherence to Sphera PMO standards. Additionally, Program Managers will be expected to organize various programs and activities to improve company efficiencies. Program Managers will also be thought leaders and key contributors to the evolution of Sphera’s Services Program Management Organization.
The candidate should have experience managing large scale software implementation projects with Fortune 100 customers and be comfortable speaking to the C-suite as well as the line manager. Additionally, candidates should be adept at stepping into a project in crisis, identifying a mitigation path and managing internal and external stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Own your world – take responsibility, make decisions, broker compromise and foster communications between stakeholders

Contribute to the evolution of the Program Management Organization

Clear communication to ELT, OLT, customer stakeholders, line management, and project managers

Oversee portfolio of active projects

Manage high profile and high-risk projects
-
Coach and guide project managers within your portfolio using the PMO standards and tools

Identify, intercept and mediate projects that are trending towards escalation
Desired Experience
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience with enterprise software implementation, with increasing levels of complexity.

Knowledge of SDLC

Experience with Azure

Knowledge of Agile

PMP or similar certification
