Director, Specialist Sales & Product Enablement, Consumer - Southeast Asia
Summary
The Director, Specialist Sales & Product Enablement is responsible for driving commercial excellence and product readiness for Mastercard's Consumer Solutions across Southeast Asia. As a product-driven individual contributor, the role partners closely with Product, Account Management, and Business Development teams to strengthen solution positioning, enhance go-to-market execution, and guide customers through Mastercard's value propositions. The focus is on product expertise, market development, and enablement-not quota-carrying sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional Specialist Sales and product enablement activities, ensuring effective positioning of Consumer Solutions across markets.
- Provide deep product expertise to support customer engagements, solution shaping, and commercial storytelling.
- Develop and deliver enablement assets such as product decks, value frameworks, competitive insights, and sales playbooks.
- Partner with Account Management and Business Development to support deal progression through insights, product clarification, and solution advisory.
- Maintain pipeline visibility and identify product-related opportunities, dependencies, and risks.
- Translate market signals, customer needs, and operational insights into recommendations that inform product roadmap and go-to-market priorities.
- Ensure seamless pre-sales to implementation handoff in partnership with delivery teams.
- Act as the voice of the market to internal product teams, identifying innovation opportunities and driving continuous solution improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience working with commercial, product, and technical teams to drive solution adoption and market execution.
- Strong understanding of financial services, payments, and competitive landscapes.
- Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation capabilities.
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Fluency in English.
