Overview
When MasterCard enables transactions, we deliver value to cardholders, merchants and financial institutions. Based out of Hong Kong office, the role of Director, Product management offers the successful individual the opportunity to manage one of the key revenue contributing product set in the market.
This individual will be responsible for the shaping and executing the core product plan, collaborate with internal stakeholders and in-country teams to advance issuing opportunity and improve Mastercard cardholder value proposition.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong execution focus with strong analytical and organization skills and knowledge of the payments/service industry and the ability to create and deliver incremental revenue.
Role
• Develop HK consumer credit and debit product strategy.
• Keep abreast of the external forces which affect issuing consumer program entities, and to assess the impact of these on MasterCard's business opportunities while working through levels of the prospect organization, and developing strategic business solution • • Execute sales enablement strategies and effectively communicate product benefits as they relate to regional and issuer needs
• Closely work with varies teams for HK credit / debit product strategy execution, i.e. debit expansion to more key issuers, including but not limit to debit plus and digital first.
• HK local product benefit development and management, regional/global offer implementation with key merchant partners, providing product proposals for New credit/debit product pitching and etc.
