The Position

CallRail is looking for an experienced and collaborative Director of Product to lead our AI-driven product and design strategy, emphasizing solutions that address core customer pain points while. This role requires a seasoned leader who excels at building strong partnerships to execute a cohesive, customer-centered product strategy that aligns with compliance, safety, and industry best practices. A candidate who has experience launching new products to market and with a UX design background is ideal. 

 What You'll Do 

  • AI Product Vision & Strategy: Shape and drive a strategic product roadmap focused on AI-powered solutions that directly address customer challenges, delivering measurable value and driving business impact.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with engineering and go-to-market teams to ensure cohesive product development and seamless execution. Cultivate a collaborative environment that balances design vision, technical feasibility, and market demands.
  • Customer Problem-Solving: Work with customer success, sales, and research teams to deeply understand customer needs, translating these insights into AI-driven products that provide targeted solutions for real-world issues.
  • Compliance & Safety Focus: Champion compliance and safety by embedding regulatory and privacy requirements into all AI product strategies. Proactively monitor and adapt to evolving regulations, prioritizing transparency and ethical use.
  • Customer-Centric Product Development: Lead the development of customer-centric AI solutions across mobile and web platforms, ensuring products are intuitive, accessible, and directly address core user needs.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and drive effective go-to-market strategies in partnership with marketing and sales. Oversee product launches and post-launch activities, gathering feedback and continuously optimizing the customer experience.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to inform product direction, refining the roadmap to stay aligned with industry shifts and consistently solve customer pain points.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Build and lead a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture. Mentor the team to drive a problem-solving mindset, translating customer challenges into high-value AI solutions.
  • Metrics & Continuous Optimization: Define KPIs to measure the effectiveness of AI-driven solutions. Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve products, ensuring they meet evolving customer needs and deliver optimal outcomes.

 What You'll Need

  • Experience: 10+ years in product management and UX design with proven expertise in AI-driven products, B2B SaaS, and customer-centric development. Demonstrated success in leading through strong cross-functional partnerships. 
  • Collaborative Leadership: Seasoned experience fostering close relationships to align product and design goals, solve challenges collaboratively, and ensure cohesive execution from concept to launch.
  • Customer Problem-Solving Focus: Proven ability to identify and prioritize customer challenges and build solutions that deliver measurable impact. Passionate about creating products that address real-world customer needs.
  • Compliance Expertise: Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements, particularly within AI and data privacy.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Skilled in market research, product analytics, and competitive analysis, with the ability to use insights to guide product decisions and strategy.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or MS in relevant field) is a plus.

This position is based out of our Atlanta office and will require that you come into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
