As the Director of Product UX, you’ll lead a talented team responsible for shaping the usability, quality, and effectiveness of our public-facing digital product experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with Product leadership, evangelizing user-centered practices and driving measurable behavior change that aligns with business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Vision and Strategy:
Lead the vision and strategy for the Product UX team.
Oversee Digital User Experience managers and practitioners.
Make data-driven, audience-led, results-oriented decisions.
Prioritize and provide strategic design recommendations.
Coach, counsel, and write performance appraisals for team members.
Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
Collaboration and Alignment:
Work directly with Digital Product Directors and other leaders.
Coordinate digital product discovery, audience research, and analysis.
Conceptualize, roadmap, and refine processes.
Conduct demos and manage dependencies across all product teams.
Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external business partners.
Present and defend user experience design vision to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and/or 7-10 years of experience in digital product technology, strategy, development, and/or design within an enterprise environment.
Minimum of 3 years directly supporting, training, and mentoring other contributors.
Solid knowledge of modern interaction design and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch).
Awareness of User Interface principles and Web accessibility standards.
Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design/coding.
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager content management system and Adobe Analytics is a plus.
Excellent project management, written, and verbal communication skills.
Comfort presenting digital product experiences to business partners and senior executives.
Location:
This position will be based at our National Executive Office (NEO) in Memphis, TN
The position will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule including in office days at NEO.
