The Opportunity
Workhuman is on a relentless pursuit of a more human workplace for every person on the planet. We're seeking a strategic leader with a bias for action who will play a crucial role in driving the growth and adoption of our Workhuman Cloud products and features. In this role, you will work closely with the product, marketing, customer, and research teams to develop and execute a strategy that maximizes product success and drives value for our customers.
As the Director of Product Marketing at Workhuman, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. This person will be a key contributor to the organization, leading a high-performing team of marketers, and create compelling messaging and positioning to communicate the value and differentiation of Workhuman's products to target audiences.
**This is a hybrid role requiring three days a week onsite in our (brand new!) Framingham, MA headquarters office.**

  • A role in shaping go-to-market (GTM) strategies for the Workhuman product line, including the Workhuman Cloud and its innovative solutions and features.   • Partnership with cross-functional teams, including customer-facing teams and product management, to gather customer insights, identify pain points, and influence the product roadmap and prioritization. You'll help craft strategies to drive acquisition, engagement, monetization, and retention.
  • The chance to collaborate closely with marketing teams to create and execute impactful go-to-market plans for product launches, feature releases, and marketing campaigns. This includes developing messaging and positioning that effectively communicates the value and differentiation of our products to diverse audiences, from program owners to C-suite decision-makers.
  • Ownership of the Competitive Intelligence function, where you'll analyze and synthesize market and competitor insights. These insights will be translated into actionable strategies and enablement assets, empowering the GTM organization to differentiate Workhuman's solutions and meet customer needs with precision.
  • A pivotal role in product adoption and engagement, including driving feature utilization, promoting best practices, and creating compelling customer use cases that demonstrate value through the launch of initiatives like the Workhuman Customer Community.
  • The opportunity to work with external analysts and media relations teams to gain valuable insights and advance the market presence of Workhuman Cloud products and features.
  • Direct involvement in customer-facing initiatives, such as preparing and delivering presentations as a subject matter expert at live events and webinars, while collaborating with Strategic Consulting and Customer Success teams to drive product retention, adoption, and growth within the customer base.
  • The ability to monitor, analyze, and report on marketing program performance, providing data-driven recommendations to improve both the product offering and its associated marketing strategies.


The skills you will bring:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in ambiguous and evolving business environments, build cross-functional alignment, and inspire collaboration across teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Experience (10+ years) in product and/or product marketing- preferably within Human Resource focused B2B technology, enterprise cloud software solutions.
  • Strong background in creating compelling product messaging and differentiation that resonates with target audiences and aligns with the overall brand strategy.
  • Experience creating integrated marketing plans to support product launch and expansion efforts that drive customer billings and drive new pipeline.
  • Expertise with a combination of key aspects of product marketing (e.g., evangelism, analyst relations, content creation, sales, and partner enablement, positioning, etc.).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for partnering with all departments to support how we go to market with our products and features.
  • Experience working with product, customer, and marketing channel owners to shape marketing strategy and drive tactical execution internally and externally.
  • Experience working with partners and external stakeholders to expand product reach and amplify marketing efforts through joint campaigns and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Prioritization, time management and agility are necessary for our fast-paced environment and the rapidly shifting market.
