Job Summary:

As Director of Product Marketing, you will define and drive product marketing strategy across our data and media products, positioning our solutions to win in an evolving, competitive advertising and media landscape. This role owns the product marketing function end-to-end, uniting cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading growth while ensuring our products are marketed in alignment with customer needs and business goals.
Reporting to the VP, Product Marketing & Strategy, this role sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer insight, and go-to-market execution. You will partner closely with product, sales, business operations, corporate marketing, and field marketing teams to launch new capabilities and media solutions, build sales enablement tools, and position the company as a leader in media and advertising technology.

                                                                                                    

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and own product marketing strategy and execution across the company's data and media product lines, ensuring alignment with business priorities and market opportunity.
  • Partner with the product owner throughout the product lifecycle, from shaping positioning around customer needs and the competitive landscape to monitoring performance after launch and refining go-to-market strategy.
  • Translate product positioning & value proposition into actionable and differentiating language that consistently flow through sales collateral, case studies and all external communications that promote & drive demand for products.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches, building repeatable playbook that scales with each new launch and drives close collaboration across product, sales, business operations, learning & development, and marketing.
  • Continue to provide go-to-market support as products evolve, including new features, enhancements, and updates, not just at initial launch.
  • Partner with sales, corporate marketing, field marketing, and learning & development to build enablement resources and training programs that scale across the sales organization.
  • Build and grow the product marketing team in partnership with leadership, assessing structure and capability needs as the function scales.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field required.
  • Relevant sales, marketing, media, or industry certifications are a plus.

Work Experience

  • At least 7 years of product marketing experience, preferably within media, technology or ad tech companies.
  • Deep understanding of how advertising solutions are planned, bought and sold, with clarity not just on how the industry operates today but also on the trends that are influencing its future state.
  • Track record of leading go-to-market strategy for new products and categories, as well as for a broader portfolio of related products.

Skills

  • Technical Fluency: Comfort with complex product features and capabilities, with the ability to translate them for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Storytelling & Narrative: Strong storytelling instincts, with a track record of shaping narratives and messaging that translate into compelling sales collateral, case studies, and customer-facing content.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrates the ability to align stakeholders across product, sales, and marketing, with a track record of turning that alignment into unified execution.
  • AI & Emerging Technology: Naturally curious about new AI tools and technologies, with an eagerness to experiment and apply them toward better productivity, collaboration, and decision-making.

Physical Demands

The Targeted Compensation Range for this New York position is:
Min: $135,000
Max: $155,000

Bonus eligible, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

Ultimate compensation will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, scope and responsibility of the position, as well as pursuant to salary market benchmarks. This salary range is a good-faith estimate of the salary for this position.
