As a Director of Product Marketing, you will:
This Director of Product Marketing role will be responsible for key outbound marketing activities for Fortinet’s high end FortiGate solutions. These FortiGate models target datacenter use cases for low latency deployments.
The successful individual will work as part of the larger FortiGate product team to drive product and solution messaging that positions Fortinet as a market and thought leader in key enterprise segments. The Product Marketing Director will have the opportunity to make a difference and play a key role in the company’s future growth by driving and growing the high end portfolio.
Responsibilities include product messaging and positioning, launching new product and solutions, writing and developing whitepapers and collateral, presenting at key industry events, developing and delivering sales and partner enablement, developing GTM strategy and pricing, implementing sales incentives, training sales and partners, contributing articles, blogs and thought leadership pieces, and other product-related outbound marketing activities. The position requires the ability to develop strongly differentiated product, platform and solutions positioning and messaging.
We Are Looking For:
- REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Solution Marketing or related roles
- At least 5 years experience with firewall related technologies and/or security
- Be results driven and have the ability to manage projects horizontally throughout the organization
- Demonstrates creative energy and strong problem solving skills
- Demonstrated track-record of leading and scaling GTM execution and operations cross-functionally across marketing, sales, product development / management, and channels.
- Excellent verbal communication and writing proficiency
- Ability to conceive, initiate, develop and sell new ideas in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to credibly engage with technical and sales communities
- Strong internal/external presentation skills with energetic presence
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a Technical field is required, MBA preferred
- Strong presentation, influencing, and cultural fluency skills effective for executive audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $190,000 - $220,000 per year. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.
