The Mission

As Director of Product Marketing and Content (AI First), you own SalesRabbit's position as the Unified Roofing Platform — one system from first lead to final payment. You set the market narrative and go-to-market strategy for a complex, multi-product ecosystem (SalesRabbit, Roofle, RoofLink, financing, billing) and turn it into a clear, differentiated story that wins in the field and drives revenue.

You sit at the center of Product, Sales, and Marketing, and you operate as a leader across all three. You partner closely with Creative and Demand Generation, but own the messaging strategy, positioning, and content direction that fuels Marketing. You define how we show up in the market, how we differentiate from fragmented point solutions, and how we enable our sales teams to pitch first, quote first, and close first. You own product marketing as a discipline: setting the strategy, building the systems, and raising the bar for how the organization translates product complexity into revenue clarity. You also lead the company's content strategy and editorial direction, ensuring every piece of content reinforces our platform narrative, accelerates sales, and creates value for customers. While you will lead a small team, this is a highly hands-on, player-coach role. You will personally own critical product marketing work while building the systems, processes, and talent that allow the function to scale.

You serve as the connective tissue between Product, Customers, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing—owning the market narrative and ensuring customer, competitive, and market intelligence continuously informs commercialization strategy, product positioning, and go-to-market execution. Sales is a critical partner, but your ultimate responsibility is helping the entire business understand, win, and grow the market.

Your success is measured by win rates, sales velocity, product adoption, messaging effectiveness in-market, and your ability to build a scalable, AI-powered product marketing engine.

Who We Are

SalesRabbit is the operating system for field sales and roofing contractors. We replace the chaos of manual tracking with an end-to-end production-to-payment system that handles everything from the first website click to the final invoice. Our software combines online lead creation, field territory management, instant estimates, and a roofing-specific CRM.

With our headquarters in Lehi, Utah, a RoofLink office in Round Rock, Texas, and a growing team of over 100, we are building an AI-native product organization. We use automation to turn messy field data into clear operational leverage, giving business owners the visibility they need to scale and reps the tools they need to close deals faster.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the "One Platform. One Login." narrative and evolve it across every GTM channel, ensuring the platform is understood and preferred in the market.
  • Set go-to-market strategy for the full portfolio, including positioning for the Sales Bundle vs. Business Bundle land-and-expand motion.
  • Lead the integration narrative across SalesRabbit, Roofle, RoofLink, and adjacent products, unifying a multi-product ecosystem into one coherent story.
  • Build and scale SalesRabbit's product marketing engine, including positioning, messaging, launch strategy, sales enablement, and content strategy, ensuring every customer-facing asset supports revenue growth.
  • Establish repeatable Voice of Customer programs, including customer interviews, advisory conversations, and market discovery.
  • Own ongoing win/loss analysis and translate customer, competitive, and field insights into actionable recommendations for Product, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.
  • Partner with Product to validate positioning, messaging, and customer value before major roadmap investments and launches.
  • Lead and mentor a small Product Marketing and Content team, serving as a player-coach who balances strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
  • Own competitive positioning and define pricing, packaging, and ROI narratives aligned to roofing economics.
  • Prioritize Product Marketing resources across launches, strategic initiatives, competitive needs, and content development to maximize business impact.
  • Own editorial strategy across product marketing content, ensuring blogs, customer stories, launch assets, sales content, thought leadership, and educational resources reinforce a consistent market narrative.
  • Build and run a living market intelligence engine that synthesizes win/loss data, buyer sentiment, competitive movement, and field feedback into strategic recommendations leadership can act on.
  • Embed AI into Product Marketing operating systems—from customer research and competitive intelligence to messaging development, sales enablement, and commercialization—creating repeatable workflows that improve speed, consistency, and decision quality.
  • Align Product, Marketing, Sales, and CX around a shared, scalable GTM playbook, and serve as the internal voice of the roofer and operator.
  • Anticipate gaps in positioning, adoption, or sales execution before they surface in performance metrics, and close them proactively.
What We Are Looking For

Required

  • 8+ years in Product Marketing within B2B SaaS, including experience owning GTM strategy and sales enablement at a leadership or functional-ownership level.
  • Experience building or significantly transforming Product Marketing functions in high-growth SaaS companies, including creating operating rhythms, commercialization frameworks, and market intelligence systems—not simply inheriting mature organizations.
  • Track record of measurable impact on pipeline, win rates, or product adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate product complexity into revenue messaging.
  • AI-First Operator: repeatable, practical use of AI tools to accelerate research, content creation, analysis, and go-to-market execution — with real workflows you can walk us through.
  • Experience with multi-product or platform positioning.
  • Experience in SaaS scale-ups.
  • Strong pattern recognition and signal synthesis: you spot shifts in the market before they show up in the numbers.
  • Proven ability to partner with and influence Sales leadership and cross-functional executives.
  • Demonstrated success personally leading customer discovery, competitive research, and market validation efforts that influenced commercialization strategy or product direction.

Nice To Have

  • Experience building Product Marketing from the ground up or leading a significant organizational transformation of the function.
  • Experience in roofing, home services, or field sales environments.
  • Experience integrating multiple products (including acquisitions) into a unified platform story.
  • Experience building or scaling a product marketing function from an early stage.
Who Thrives Here

At SalesRabbit, we hire for operating cadence and mindset. The people who do best here share a few things in common:

  • Active Curiosity - You seek root causes before proposing solutions and stay ahead of industry trends and tools.
  • Grit & Scrappiness - You roll up your sleeves on hard, ambiguous, unglamorous work. You build functions, systems, messaging, and operating models before asking for additional headcount or resources.
  • Extreme Ownership - You take accountability for outcomes, proactively communicate blockers, and deliver with minimal oversight.
  • Bias Toward Impact - You measure success by business outcome, not effort. You course-correct fast and without ego.
  • Team-First Collaboration - You listen to understand, give credit generously, and push back when something is wrong - to protect the outcome, not win the argument. You create clarity where none exists.
Benefits
  • 20 days of PTO + 10 paid holidays
  • Medical, Vision, Dental, and Basic Life Insurance
  • 401(k) 100% matching up to 4% of salary
  • Company phone plan covering service for employee and spouse/child
