At Genesys, we help organizations create better customer experiences through AI-powered experience orchestration. Our platform connects people, systems, data and AI to help organizations deliver more personalized service, improve operational efficiency and build stronger customer relationships.

Help build, support and operate technology used by more than 8,000 organizations in over 100 countries – moving AI from possibility to production in real-world enterprise environments every day.

Role Overview (remote US based)

Shape how Genesys defines, differentiates, and takes its AI portfolio to market, with ownership of the narrative that connects AI innovation to measurable customer experience and business value. You will define Genesys' point of view on AI in customer experience (CX), determining how that perspective is positioned, proven, and translated into a compelling story for enterprise customers, analysts, partners, and sellers.

As a senior product marketing leader, you will translate advances across the Genesys AI portfolio into differentiated positioning that makes sophisticated technology clear, relevant, and commercially compelling. You will partner deeply with Product and Engineering, bringing market, customer, and competitive insight upstream to influence priorities while ensuring AI innovation reaches the market with credible differentiation, customer proof, and a story the field can sell.

You will lead a high-performing team of AI product marketers responsible for positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, launches, and adoption. Your leadership will help Genesys build market mindshare, strengthen seller effectiveness, accelerate customer adoption, and demonstrate how AI can make work easier, improve decisions, and deliver better customer and employee experiences.

This role offers significant visibility across Genesys and the opportunity to influence enterprise AI strategy at a time when agentic AI, reasoning models, orchestration, and multi-agent systems are reshaping customer experience. You will help determine where Genesys can lead, translate emerging technology into differentiated customer value, and define how AI powers the next chapter of Genesys Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end Genesys AI narrative, positioning, value propositions, proof points, and differentiation for CX, strengthening market relevance as technology, competitive dynamics, and buyer expectations evolve
  • Define a differentiated point of view on AI in CX, translating advances in agentic AI, reasoning models, orchestration, and multi-agent systems into clear customer and business value
  • Lead the competitive narrative for AI in CX, identifying opportunities for Genesys to establish credible leadership, respond to changing competitive propositions, and create meaningful market separation
  • Influence product and AI strategy through deep partnership with Product and Engineering, bringing customer, market, and competitive insight upstream while ensuring major capabilities launch with differentiated positioning and commercial relevance
  • Establish an always-on AI go-to-market motion that tests and scales programs and channels to increase market mindshare, generate pipeline, strengthen seller effectiveness, and accelerate enterprise adoption
  • Drive executive alignment on AI priorities, positioning, and go-to-market strategy, connecting portfolio decisions to Genesys' broader business objectives and customer needs
  • Partner across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Analyst Relations, and other functions to create consistent AI storytelling, coordinated execution, and shared measures of success
  • Amplify customer outcomes as market proof, identifying and elevating AI and agentic AI use cases that demonstrate measurable improvements in customer experience, employee experience, operational performance, and business value
  • Represent Genesys as an AI thought leader with enterprise customers, partners, industry analysts, media, and industry forums, strengthening market credibility and helping shape conversations about the future of AI-powered CX
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of AI product marketers, strengthening strategic thinking, product marketing craft, accountability, collaboration, constructive debate, and commercial focus
  • Measure and continuously improve go-to-market effectiveness using customer insights, seller feedback, competitive intelligence, pipeline and adoption signals, market perception, and performance data

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of B2B technology marketing experience, including significant product marketing leadership experience in enterprise software and demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams
  • Proven track record of owning positioning, messaging, product launches, and go-to-market strategy for complex enterprise technologies, with experience in AI.
  • Deep fluency in AI technologies and emerging architectures, including agentic AI, reasoning models, orchestration, and multi-agent systems, with the technical depth to engage credibly with engineers and researchers and evaluate complex product and market assumptions
  • Exceptional product marketing judgment and craft, with demonstrated success developing differentiated positioning, simplifying technically complex products, and creating narratives that influence customer, seller, or market perception
  • Strong commercial orientation with experience connecting product marketing strategy to pipeline, adoption, seller effectiveness, competitive wins, customer expansion, or market perception
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and exercise sound judgment as AI technologies, competitive dynamics, customer expectations, and product priorities evolve rapidly
  • Extensive experience influencing senior executives and driving cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and related functions
  • Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to move fluidly between technical AI concepts and clear business value for technical, commercial, and C-suite audiences
  • Strong people leadership capabilities with a track record of developing talent, building trust, encouraging constructive debate, and raising team performance
  • Demonstrated ability to use customer insight, market feedback, competitive intelligence, and performance data to guide decisions, measure impact, and continuously improve strategy and execution

Preferred Qualifications
