Role Overview
This role is for a Brand Ad Product Marketer on our Biz Marketing & Demand Generation team. As the Product Marketer, you will be responsible for building effective go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Sales and Product/Engineering teams. Go-to-market strategy includes defining the value proposition, developing sales collaterals, executing internal/external communication plans, and collecting market feedback for further iteration. Brand Ads represents a crucial innovation poised to propel Coupang Ads' business opportunities forward. It requires flexible yet systematic management capabilities to discover new product categories and customer segments while maintaining the existing success formula of Coupang Ads. The new director is expected to develop effective external communication strategies to reshape market perception of Coupang Ads, while also building a team internally and leading continuous iteration with the Product & Engineering team.
Biz Marketing & Demand Generation Team
- Coupang Ads connects advertisers with customers searching for relevant products, helping drive advertiser growth by delivering the most valuable ad solutions in the world.
The - Coupang Ads Marketing team is responsible for realizing this brand mission through the following:
- Identifying the most valuable solutions for customers and consumers in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Sharing these insights across internal teams to co-create optimal solutions.
- Developing messaging and channels that establish market recognition of “the world’s most valuable solution.
What You Will Do
- Define the product value proposition and market fit in close collaboration with the Product team.
- Build insight in the competitive landscape and the advertiser needs to effectively influence the value proposition.
- Develop sales narratives & creative assets to communicate the value proposition to the target audience.
- Design and manage the quantitative & qualitative feedback loop from the Sales teams and Advertisers.
- Understand the product's lifecycle and market adoption to determine the strategic action items accordingly.
Qualifications
- >15 years of relevant career experience
- Hands-on experience in B2B marketing within the AdTech industry or equivalent digital marketing knowledge
- Deep understanding in Korean brand advertising makret, including the competitive landscape, advertiser & agency perspectives, and decision making processes
- Leadership to drive cross-functional collaborative projects and the ability to systematize work processes
- Data-storytelling ability to build effective sales narratives and communication strategies
- Must be proficient in English/Korean business communication
- Understanding of online merchandising best practices, marketing strategies, and customer behavior.
