The Role

About us:

Booster is a school and education fundraising company on a mission to change the world. Home to industry-leading offerings like Boosterthon and Booster Spirit Wear, we're reinventing the fundraising industry from the ground up. Our platform serves millions of students and educators across the nation, helping schools raise funds that make a huge difference in the lives of K-12 students. We're a fast-growing organization with over 900 enthusiastic leaders who make a huge difference in local schools across America.

Booster is based in Norcross, GA with team members distributed throughout the United States.

Your role:

As we’ve embraced scale, technology is now core to our value proposition and a key enabler of our growth. Our Product Vision is to inspire and facilitate radical generosity by empowering schools and groups to raise more funds, simplifying the fundraising experience, and differentiating our offerings in a rapidly evolving market.

The Director of Product Management will play a pivotal role in achieving this vision by leading and scaling the Product Management function. This leader will be responsible for developing and driving a clear product strategy, empowering a team of Product Managers, and ensuring cross-functional alignment across Engineering, UX, and Data to deliver high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong collaborator, and data-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

This is a hybrid role in the Norcross home office.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and champion a company-level product vision, strategy, and roadmap that drives year-over-year growth in dollars raised per student.

  • Ensure the product strategy aligns with Booster’s business objectives, identifying opportunities to expand into new market segments and improve campaign results.

  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the Product Management team.

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing Product Management team that delivers exceptional results.

  • Establish and promote Product Management best practices to ensure consistency, collaboration, and efficiency across teams.

  • Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture that encourages ownership, accountability, and excellence.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX, and Data Analytics leaders to design and deliver user-centric, data-driven products.

  • Engage with senior leaders across the organization to align on product priorities and ensure shared objectives are met.

  • Champion the voice of the customer by leveraging data, user research, and market insights to inform product decisions and optimize the user experience.

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring high-impact initiatives are delivered on time and with quality.

  • Implement a data-driven approach to measure and optimize product success, focusing on key KPIs such as dollars raised per student, customer satisfaction, and platform adoption.

  • Drive a culture of rapid iteration, ensuring that products are delivered incrementally while gathering feedback for continuous improvements.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or management role.

  • Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing Product teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

  • Strong background in e-commerce, fundraising, or marketplace platforms, with a solid understanding of industry trends and customer behaviors.

  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute a product vision and strategy that drives measurable business outcomes.

  • Exceptional data fluency, with experience using data and experimentation to inform product decisions.

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies, with a track record of driving incremental value through rapid experimentation and iteration.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a bias for action and a focus on delivering results.

  • Degree in business administration, marketing, computer science, or related field.

  • A collaborative, positive, relational attitude and strong growth mindset.

Bonus qualifications:

  • Experience leading B2B2C product development or working in a marketplace or platform environment.

  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other enterprise Agile frameworks.

  • Experience using product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Portfolio, Miro, Productboard, and Asana.

  • Technical background or experience, giving a deeper understanding of product development trade-offs.

  • Passion for education, fundraising, and making a positive impact on communities.
