This role is part of our Prerender team, one of our largest brands at saas.group.

Profile Overview

As the Director of Product Management, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of our product portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales and customer success, to ensure the development and delivery of world-class SEO solutions. This role requires a visionary leader who can identify market opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and drive product excellence to meet the needs of our diverse and growing customer base.

Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be:

  • Improve product management practices with better processes to collect product feedback, align execution with our existing roadmap with clearly defined success criteria for every new feature, improvement or backend enhancement to Prerender.
  • Develop a strong command of the SEO tools and services market and lead a comprehensive discussion around relevant market opportunities, building a cohesive, coherent and compelling vision and roadmap to execute that expands the total addressable market for Prerender.
  • Within the first 12 months, you will be successful if you can achieve a new, expanded vision that allows Prerender to engage with the future needs of existing and potential customers in our market, increasing the size of our total addressable market. 

Your responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Lead the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability and professional growth.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and seek customer feedback to identify opportunities and guide product development.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SEO and product management.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions on time and within budget.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product adoption.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and iterate based on data-driven insights to drive progress and continuous improvement of our product and our processes.
  • Represent the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs and expectations throughout the organization.
  • Enable better planning for new features, optimize resource allocation, and ensure timely implementation to meet our product roadmap goals.
  • Provide a deep understanding of upcoming developments, ticket prioritization, and the overall development process to the product management team, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Serve as a go-to contact person for the development team, answering questions, facilitating smooth communication, and fostering a collaborative environment.

What You bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in SaaS companies, preferably SEO-related industries.
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven approach to decision making, utilizing metrics and user feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing products to market and driving growth.
  • Profound knowledge about web technologies, bonus points for technical SEO knowledge and hands-on experience with SEO tools and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of agile product management methodologies and software development life cycle processes.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders.
