Director, Product Management - Reporting, Analytics & AI Platform
What does a successful Director of Product, Reporting, Analytics & AI Platform do at Fiserv?
As the Director of Product for Reporting, Analytics & AI Platform at Clover, a Fiserv company, you will lead the strategy and execution of Clover’s data-driven product experiences—empowering small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to better understand their business performance and gain meaningful insights into their competitive landscape. You’ll own the roadmap for merchant-facing reporting and merchant insights across Clover’s device, web, and mobile platforms. You’ll also be responsible for managing Clover’s AI platform and enabling it to be leveraged by other Clover product teams.
In this highly cross-functional leadership role, you’ll manage a team of product managers and work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Customer Success, and Fiserv stakeholders. Your work will help Clover differentiate in the POS and payments market by delivering intuitive, actionable tools tailored to the needs of SMBs.
You Are:
-
A customer-obsessed product leader with deep empathy for SMBs and a strong grasp of how data and AI can drive operational excellence.
-
A builder of high-performing teams, skilled at fostering ownership, alignment, and growth among your direct reports.
-
A strategic thinker who understands the interplay between product, platform, and business impact—especially in the POS and payments ecosystem.
-
A data- and outcomes-driven decision maker who excels at storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, and executional rigor.
What You’ll Do:
Reporting & Analytics
-
Own and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for Clover’s reporting and analytics experiences, helping SMBs understand business health, trends, and opportunities.
-
Lead development of tools that deliver intuitive, digestible insights across device, web, and mobile platforms.
-
Support the creation of reports tailored to verticals like personal care, food & beverage, home and auto services, and retail.
-
Define and track KPIs such as feature adoption, merchant engagement, and business impact.
-
Translate user needs and market trends into prioritized product requirements, user stories, and detailed execution plans.
-
Build business cases, conduct opportunity sizing, and define success metrics to guide investment and prioritization decisions.
-
Collaborate with go-to-market teams to drive successful launches and product adoption.
Competitive Insights for SMBs
-
Own product experiences that provide SMB merchants with insights into what local competitors are doing—using anonymized, aggregated order and payment data from the Clover network.
-
Deliver competitive benchmarks that highlight trends in pricing, product mix, customer behavior, and operational efficiency.
-
Help merchants answer critical questions like: “How are my sales compared to others nearby?” “Are my top-selling items in line with competitors?” “How are others pricing similar services or products?”
-
Ensure these insights are delivered in a privacy-compliant, easily consumable, and actionable way, empowering merchants to make smarter decisions without needing deep analytics expertise.
-
Collaborate closely with Fiserv data science teams to define data models, signals, and methodologies that power competitive intelligence features.
AI Platform Strategy & Execution
-
Define and lead Clover’s AI platform strategy—enabling seamless integration of AI across the product ecosystem to unlock new customer value.
-
Develop AI tools and infrastructure that empower internal teams to build smarter, automated, and personalized merchant experiences.
-
Create governance frameworks to ensure AI adoption is secure, ethical, and compliant with industry standards.
-
Oversee cross-functional AI initiatives, collaborating with Data Science, Engineering, and Fiserv stakeholders.
-
Lead AI project intake and prioritization processes, tying each initiative to a clear business outcome.
-
Serve as Clover’s AI evangelist internally and externally—representing our strategy in executive forums and industry conversations.
What You Need to Have:
-
10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership/people management role.
-
Strong domain expertise in POS, payments, and SMB software ecosystems.
-
Demonstrated success building customer-facing data products such as dashboards, reporting tools, and benchmarking insights.
-
Experience in AI/ML platform product management or infrastructure.
-
Familiarity with MLOps and the AI model development lifecycle.
-
Strong technical fluency and ability to participate in architectural and data discussions.
-
Experience leading large-scale cross-functional product initiatives with measurable business results.
-
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for prioritization, performance measurement, and storytelling.
