Yext is looking for a Director of Product Management with a passion for redefining the CMS market with an AI-led composable CMS.  

In this role, you will be responsible for owning the strategy, roadmap and market success of Yext Pages, Search and Chat. The ideal candidate will possess an outstanding blend of business and technical acumen, a big-picture vision and the drive to work closely with a team of elite product managers, engineers, designers, data scientists and cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for Yext Pages, Search and Chat solution, ensuring alignment with Yext business priorities
  • Lead the Yext product management teams, encouraging a culture of innovation, speed to market and customer-centricity
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback to advise product roadmaps and feature development
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption 
  • Define objectives and key results for the product line, adjusting strategies and team mix as vital to achieve growth and retention targets
  • Act as your portfolio’s product evangelist both internally and externally, including customer advisory boards, AR/PR briefings, customer webinars, and product council meetings
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the CMS landscape, Marketing technology and Multi-location space, as well as the AI market landscape, new technologies and standards
  • Drive product innovation through a culture of rapid iteration, experimentation, lean UX and constant customer feedback cycles
  • Lead, mentor, and encourage a team of dedicated product managers to deliver and iterate on innovation to the market frequently

What You Have

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent 
  • 3-5 years of experience in a product management, industry experience or computer science role
  • 3+ years of experience in leading a team is a plus
  • An understanding of data modeling, relationships, content types, and headless architecture
  • Familiarity with modern CMS tooling: Contentful, Content-stack, Drupal, Adobe, etc.
  • Product mentality - inclination and ability to envision a product and then marshal and drive resources to realize that vision
  • Flexible, fast learner who thrives in a constantly changing work environment
  • Able to generate creative, simple solutions to sophisticated problems
  • Ability to quickly understand, reason about, and fluently discuss existing and proposed software systems
  • Excellent writing and presentation abilities
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills
  • Brings a Growth mindset to their job everyday

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.

Annual Base Pay Range

$178,650$385,000 USD
