Now we’re searching for a Director of Product, Devices to lead one of our core hardware platforms and guide it through its next chapter. 

Your Mission: Director of Product, Devices

As Director of Product, you’ll lead the full lifecycle of a major device platform—from the earliest spark of discovery through global launch, continuous improvement, and long-term evolution. You’ll work at the intersection of user insight, business strategy, and technical execution, championing decisions that maximize patient outcomes, provider efficiency, and commercial impact.

Your role is to ensure we:

  • Solve the right problems – anchored in patient and provider needs, informed by clinical and market signals.

  • Deliver scalable, elegant solutions – built with excellence and integrated across our global ecosystem.

  • Move with purpose – prioritizing for impact, learning fast, and unlocking value early.

You’ll collaborate across engineering, design, operations, clinical, regulatory, marketing, and regional teams to translate strategy into meaningful outcomes—and lead a diverse Product team that brings that strategy to life.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Vision
Define and evolve the long-term strategy for the device platform, rooted in user needs and aligned with ResMed’s broader mission.

Own the Lifecycle
Guide the platform through every stage—from early discovery to new product introduction, global launch, sustained innovation, and end-of-life planning.

Drive Cross-Functional Alignment
Build strong partnerships with engineering, design, clinical, regulatory, operations, supply chain, marketing, and regional teams to deliver integrated outcomes and portfolio cohesion.

Lead with Clarity and Empathy
Translate strategy into clear roadmaps, decision frameworks, and communication that aligns stakeholders and accelerates progress—while fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for your team.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years’ experience across product management, engineering, operations, or related technical/commercial roles

  • Proven success leading complex product initiatives in technology-driven or regulated industries

  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to guide long-term product direction

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams through collaboration and trust

  • Experience working with hardware + software products or long-lifecycle platforms

  • Healthcare, medical device, or MedTech industry experience is preferred but not required.

Employees receive Flexible Time Off (FTO), 11 paid holidays plus 3 floating days and are eligible for 14 weeks of primary caregiver or two weeks of secondary caregiver leave when welcoming new family members. 

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.   

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is: $197,000 - $295,000.
