Job Title

Director, Product Management - Lending

About the role:

As a Director, Product Management - Lending, you will help shape the strategy, vision, and delivery of Fiserv’s lending solutions. You’ll play a key role in bringing high-impact product capabilities to market and ensuring releases reflect both customer needs and business goals.

In this role, you’ll make product decisions throughout the software development lifecycle, partnering across teams to turn strategy into well-executed solutions delivered with speed, clarity, and purpose.

You’ll bring knowledge of consumer, small business, and commercial lending origination and servicing, along with an eye on fintech innovation and evolving industry trends.

If you’re energized by solving complex problems, building products that matter, and working in a fast-moving space that is reshaping financial experiences, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a product line positioned for strong growth.

We’re looking for someone who is thoughtful, curious, and comfortable navigating complexity, with the initiative to lead through ambiguity and help teams move great ideas into market-ready products.

What you'll do:

  • Own product and portfolio strategy, and turn that strategy into operating plans that support growth, customer value, and business results.

  • Partner across teams to shape and communicate roadmaps, feature priorities, and technical dependencies.

  • Support successful launches by contributing to release planning, release notes, and clear product documentation for internal and client-facing teams.

  • Use product usage data, customer feedback, and market signals to identify trends and guide enhancements, new features, and future product opportunities.

  • Help improve operational processes with a strong customer and business lens to support high-quality client and partner experiences.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Product Owners and product managers, and coach scrum teams in SAFe Agile practices to improve delivery confidence and velocity.

  • Build strong client relationships, gather feedback from user groups, monitor implementation progress, and translate customer insights into roadmap decisions.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years of product management experience.

  • Strong knowledge of financial services and technology products, practices, and market dynamics.

  • Experience with consumer, small business, or commercial lending products. Auto lending expertise is a plus, and experience with origination platforms is helpful.

  • Experience using product analytics and experimentation to inform decisions, along with familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, roadmapping tools, and product analytics platforms.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to lead effectively across matrixed organizations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for a range of audiences, including executives.

Travel Required: Ability to travel approximately 25%

How you'll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

Sponsorship:

You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. • Paid holidays and generous time away policies.

  • No-cost mental health support through Employee Assistance Programs.

  • Living Proof program to recognize your peers’ extra effort with points redeemable for .rewards.

  • Eight Employee Resource Groups to foster a collaborative culture and expand your network.

  • Unparalleled professional growth with training, development, and internal mobility opportunities.

  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options available from day one.

  • Retirement planning and discounted shares with the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

  • Tuition assistance and reimbursement program.
