C3 AI is seeking a talented and experienced Director, Product Management to lead our data management product team. You will own and drive all aspects of product management including vision, strategy, roadmap and execution. In addition, you will partner closely with product teams across the C3 AI product portfolio including AI/ML products, Generative AI, and AI Applications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Define and document business processes impacted by your products.
- Author product specifications, including use cases, activity flow diagrams, screen mockups, and identification of data sources, analytics, reporting, and integration requirements.
- Write detailed Market Requirements Documents for product capabilities and features, identifying innovative ideas to incorporate into the product roadmap.
- Build and evaluate business cases to support product investment decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and other support teams such as user experience, QA, and documentation to create exceptional solutions.
- Work together with Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Support to promote the delivery of product features through training initiatives, documentation efforts, and customer/analyst demonstrations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in STEM field; MBA or Master of Science preferred
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years focusing on data infrastructure, data integration, or related technologies
- Minimum 5 years in a senior product leadership role, managing high-performing product teams.
- Proven track record of delivering successful enterprise-scale data platform products
- Deep understanding of cloud data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and lake house patterns
- Experience in writing logical, detailed, and complete product requirements and functional specifications.
- Proven ability to develop and effectively communicate a product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Outstanding team player with the ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas.
