Director of Product Management - Analytics Experience

For overall team productivity, we optimize meeting hours in the pacific time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3pm PT, however, ad hoc meetings occur between 8am-6pm Pacific time. #LI-remote

This Opportunity
We are looking for a product management leader, who will own the charter to enable scientifically rigorous research with powerful analytics in Truveta Studio. We are building a set of advanced analytical capabilities to allow clinical researchers perform deep scientific analysis to support their research hypotheses. This role will drive the vision to take our analytics platform to the next level, enabling fast & performant analysis over billions of healthcare data points, enabling a wide range of clinical research. Ultimately, we want to make Truveta Studio the most powerful analytics suite for studying regulatory-grade EHR data, linked with claims and SDOH, enabling research across all diseases, drugs, and devices. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with talented stakeholders, across product management, engineering, customer success, clinical informatics, and research. This is an individual contributor role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute a compelling product strategy for analytics & data science capabilities within Truveta Studio, by deeply understanding Truveta’s users needs and existing workflows.
- Analytics and data science: Develop a deep intuition of how researchers leverage Truveta Studio for their analytical needs leveraging your expertise in various analytics technologies such as Python and R notebooks for statistical analysis, PowerBI/Tableau, Spark SQL.
- User Experience: Create intuitive user experiences for analyzing Truveta Data including designing analytics libraries for easy reuse.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, clinical informaticists, research, customer success, and sales/marketing teams to drive product development and adoption.
- Stakeholder communication: Foster clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders via excellent written and oral communication ranging from customer-facing scenarios to highly technical internal conversations.
- Product usage metrics: Define and track KPIs to measure the success of analytics features and make data-driven optimization decisions
Key Qualifications
- 8+ years of proven experience in product management including shipping products related to data analytics, data science, or data visualization demonstrating a solid understanding of data analytics technologies in solving a business & customer.
- Strong technical background with experience creating programmatic interfaces (APIs/SDK).
- Comfortable driving complex and ambiguous projects across a diverse set of teams including customer sales & success teams, clinicians, researchers, other product managers, and engineers.
- Experience analyzing complex, large-scale datasets and making data-driven decisions
- Able to work with teams on west coast hours. We celebrate and embrace a distributed team that works well together remotely and meets at least twice per year in person.

- The base pay for this position is $181,000 to $250,000. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
