Job Description

Bosch Home Comfort is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Product Line CTG. This leadership role is responsible for driving financial integrity, operational transparency, and business performance across our Product Line division. This role will serve as a key finance business partner to senior leadership, ensuring financial governance while enabling data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Product Line Controllership

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner for the Product Line leadership team, providing strategic financial analysis, insight, and decision support.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the Product Line ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on Product Line KPIs, including profitability, cost of goods sold, gross margin, and return on investment.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities within the Product Line groups by proactively communicating findings to senior leadership with recommended actions.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure financial alignment across the full value chain.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Partner strategically with Product Line senior leaders
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development within the controlling team.
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance objectives for each team member; conduct regular performance reviews and coaching conversations.

Governance, Controls & Compliance

  • Maintain a strong internal control environment across all areas of responsibility, ensuring compliance with Bosch accounting policies.
  • Lead or support internal and external audit activities, coordinating timely and complete responses to audit inquiries.
  • Champion financial process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Ensure data integrity within ERP and financial reporting systems (SAP preferred).

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and controllership experience
  • 5+ years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing finance principles
  • Proficiency in SAP or comparable ERP systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Willingness to travel 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred
  • Experience within the HVAC, home appliance, or industrial manufacturing sector.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with senior operational and commercial leaders.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Bosch global finance standards and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience leading finance teams through ERP implementations or system migrations.
