Product at Brex
The Product team is at the forefront of Brex's mission to empower employees anywhere to make better financial decisions. With a deep understanding of the business, we identify and scope out the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle. We are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams — such as Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Design — on key decisions. We set strategy and drive products from inception to launch, enabling Brex to grow rapidly and help our customers reach their full potential.
What you’ll do
As a Product Leader at Brex, you will be the driving force behind our Growth Product team — overseeing the thoughtful strategy and execution of team and technical systems to drive customer acquisition and onboarding. You will also collaborate closely with our Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to ensure seamless acquisition and onboarding for customers, particularly those with significant and complex spending needs. You will be instrumental in creating features, models, and tools that empower our GTM and Marketing teams to get maximal leverage out of their efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization, based in San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Vancouver, Brazil, and remote locations. Past examples of work in this domain include AI agents for GTM workflows, developing best-in-class GTM data and enrichment systems, ML models for account prioritization, prospect AI classification systems, and more.
Where you’ll work
This role will be based in either our San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office at least 3 days per week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Employees will be able to work remotely for up to 4 weeks per year, for a minimum of one week at a time.
Responsibilities
- Drive product and systems investments that improve GTM metrics such as CAC payback, pipeline conversion, and efficiency.
- Define and execute a multi-quarter Growth strategy in partnership with Engineering, Design, GTM, Marketing, Ops, and Data to deliver high-impact, scalable products with measurable business impact.
- Embed within Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to identify workflow bottlenecks and lead automation and optimization initiatives.
- Analyze GTM funnel and conversion metrics to uncover insights and guide product priorities and roadmap decisions.
- Set clear goals, metrics, and success criteria for the Growth team, driving accountability to measurable outcomes.
- Manage and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering clarity, ownership, and a culture of high performance.
- Oversee core Growth Product and Engineering domains, including account scoring, TAM data, outbound automation, and GTM tooling.
- Align stakeholders around an aspirational 6–12 month roadmap that advances GTM efficiency and business growth.
- Ensure successful activation and implementation of customers initiatives by partnering with GTM and Customer Success to operationalize tooling and automations.
- Continuously refine activation based on feedback and performance data to drive faster time-to-value and sustainable adoption.
Requirements
- Relevant experience: 10+ years of experience in product management or management consulting, ideally with direct responsibility for or experience scaling B2B products and GTM systems, with a strong understanding of growth, GTM, and/or marketing pipelines.
- Analytical sense: You demonstrate a strong aptitude for and actively use data to inform your decision-making. Basic SQL proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Communication: You have proven experience working and communicating effectively with senior leaders and executives, and influencing stakeholders across departments and functions, including Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, CRMX/Business Systems, IT, Legal, and more. You excel at building trust and working relationships.
- Systems-thinker: You are a systems thinker, capable of thinking holistically across product, technical, and people systems to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for efficiency, automation, fraud prevention, and product growth within the payables ecosystem.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $340,000 - $425,000. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
