What you’ll do in the role:
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC. is seeking a Director, Product Development in New York, New York to Coordinate with Institutional Securities business and IT development team to manage and implement technology solutions to address their detailed user requirements. Create product plans including high level business requirements, cost analysis, benefits definition and rollout plans for internal and external applications. Facilitate and gather detailed user requirements for the development teams, facilitating design reviews with the business and managing the overall rollout plans including QA, user testing, staff training and final delivery. Act as first line of user support for products, track client and investor issues and feedback, and work with business to prioritize post implementation issues and enhancements requests. Liaise between the business, developers, and other product development teams across global locations. Telecommuting permitted up to two days per week.
What you’ll bring to the role:
-Requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Employer will accept any foreign 3- or 4-year Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Information
Systems.
-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Development Project Manager, Business Analyst, or a related role.
-Requires Five (5) years of experience with:
- Portals/Online Applications and Digital experience;
- UX Design and wire frames;
- Business Process Modelling;
- Agile Methodology such as gathering business requirements;
- Customer support;
- MS Excel;
- Visio;
- Accounting;
- PowerPoint and Data Analysis.
-Requires Four (4) years of experience with:
- Investor services, transfer agency processes, hedge funds, and alternative investment structures;
- Camunda BPM; and
- JIRA.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,550 and $150,550 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
