We are seeking a Director of Product Design to lead and scale our product design function across multiple product lines. This role will be responsible for defining the design vision, UX strategy, and execution excellence, with a strong emphasis on an AI-first design approach.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of design leadership, product thinking, and operational rigor to drive user-centric innovation at scale. They will partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Executive leadership to transform product experiences beyond traditional UI into intelligent, adaptive, and conversational interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Leadership & Strategy
- Define and drive the end-to-end design vision and UX strategy aligned with business objectives
- Establish and scale design principles, standards, and best practices across products
- Own the evolution of design systems, accessibility, and usability standards
- Lead the shift toward AI-first experiences, including intelligent, adaptive, and conversational interfaces
2. Team Leadership & Scaling
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Product Designers
- Build a strong, innovation-driven design culture grounded in accountability and collaboration
- Drive hiring, performance management, and career development for the design organization
- Partner with leadership to define the organization structure and capability roadmap
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, and Marketing to deliver impactful experiences
- Partner with AI/ML and engineering teams to translate platform capabilities into scalable, user-centered solutions
- Ensure seamless alignment across UX, UI, and engineering teams
4. Product Execution & Delivery
- Oversee the delivery of intuitive, scalable, and high-quality user experiences
- Drive consistency through design systems and unified experience guidelines
- Ensure solutions are technically feasible, measurable, and aligned with product timelines
5. Customer & Business Impact
- Leverage user research, analytics, and feedback to inform design decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement, usability, and conversion metrics

6. Design Operations & Governance
- Establish and optimize design processes, workflows, and tools
- Define and track design KPIs and UX quality metrics

- 15+ years of experience in Product Design / UX Design, with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven experience leading large design teams within product/engineering-driven organizations
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex product experiences
- Deep expertise in design systems, enterprise applications, and scalable platforms
- Strong foundation in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and AI/ML teams
