• You lead the global development and optimization of Pleating technologies, ensuring efficient, lean and quality- as well as HSE-compliant production processes.

• You drive international process development projects, standardization, engineering changes, and global rollouts.

• You shape the Technology Roadmap, manage CAPEX, select and qualify suppliers, and implement cutting-edge manufacturing solutions.

• You provide leadership to local process engineers, developing technical expertise and fostering talent worldwide.

• You coordinate the global Subject Matter Expert Platform, promoting knowledge exchange and best practices.

• You support plants with operational challenges and efficiency initiatives, including digitalization and smart automation.

• You identify, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies to maintain Freudenberg’s technological edge.

• University degree in Mechanical, Process, Textile Engineering or comparable; technical apprenticeship is a plus.

• Strong hands-on experience in Pleating technologies with a track record of leading international projects.

• Practical operations experience in filter components or comparable manufacturing environments.

• Profound technical expertise, ability to create requirement specifications, and structured project management skills.

• Experience in digitalization, Industry 4.0, or AI.

• Hands-on, results-oriented, and pragmatic with deep awareness of quality and HSE requirements to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Excellent intercultural communication skills in English to work with international, cross-functional teams, and willingness to travel and work abroad.
