As Director of Pricing, you will establish and grow our pricing capability, turning data and insights into strategies that keep us competitive, profitable, and trusted by customers. This role offers the opportunity to shape the foundation of a function that will expand alongside one of the fastest growing retailers in the country.

Your Day Consists Of

· Leading and developing the Pricing team to deliver strategies that support both growth and profitability.

· Designing and implementing pricing frameworks that balance customer value, competitive positioning, and margin impact.

· Driving analysis of price elasticity, promotional effectiveness, and competitor moves to guide merchant decisions.

· Developing margin optimization strategies, including promotional pricing models and markdown frameworks to improve profitability.

· Helping merchants understand cost structure models to improve decision-making and category profitability.

· Overseeing competitive intelligence by monitoring the market, surfacing insights, and analyzing and reporting on price competitiveness against key competitors on a regular basis.

· Identifying key Floor & Decor resources and systems required to execute pricing measurement and reporting approaches.

· Understanding the current state of Floor & Decor pricing processes and identifying critical enablers to scale pricing capabilities by combining art and science in the process.

· Managing pricing systems and execution to ensure strategies flow seamlessly to stores and digital channels.

· Applying AI-driven tools and advanced analytics to enhance decision-making, improve accuracy, and enable greater speed and scale.

· Ensuring compliance with pricing regulations and maintaining transparency that builds trust with customers and stakeholders.

· Contributing to the roadmap for how Pricing will scale into a best-in-class function as the business grows.

You’ll Be Successful With

· 8+ years of experience in Pricing, Merchandising Strategy, Finance, or Revenue Management, with at least 3–5 years leading teams.

· Strong analytical toolkit with the ability to translate complex data into clear actions and influence non-technical audiences.

· Retail or consumer-facing industry background; experience in home improvement, grocery, specialty, or eCommerce is a plus.

· Expertise in margin analysis, promotional pricing, and markdown optimization.

· Hands-on experience with AI and advanced analytics tools that bring smarter, faster pricing insights.

· Credibility with senior merchants and cross-functional leaders through listening, influencing, and building trust.

· A growth mindset with energy to elevate, test, and refine pricing strategies in a dynamic environment.

· High comfort with ambiguity and change, with the leadership skills to rally a team around new ways of working.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

· Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
