About the Role
Poshmark is seeking a Director, PR & Communications to lead and evolve how our story is told—externally and internally—as we continue to strengthen our position as the leading fashion resale marketplace and a key player in the future of retail. This role is responsible for defining and executing a communications strategy that supports business priorities, reinforces brand trust, and engages our global community.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role serves as a strategic advisor to the executive team, shaping Poshmark’s narrative across corporate, consumer, and internal communications. The role blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership and is key to protecting and elevating Poshmark’s reputation.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead a communications strategy spanning corporate, consumer, executive, and internal communications
Advise the executive team on high-impact, sensitive communications
Manage and develop the Social Team, including 1 direct report and their team, along with the external agency partnership.
Create KPIs and measurement frameworks to assess communications impact
Own Poshmark’s external narrative and ensure compelling storytelling
Lead media relations and build relationships with key media
Develop and execute executive thought leadership programs
Lead crisis communications and partner with Legal and leadership
Oversee PR agencies and vendors
Design and execute an internal communications strategy
Partner with CEO and leadership on internal messaging and change communications
Ensure internal communications reinforce culture, values, and priorities

Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership
