At NiCE, we don’t limit our challenges. We challenge our limits. Always. We’re ambitious. We’re game changers. And we play to win. We set the highest standards and execute beyond them. And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.
So, what’s the role all about?
NiCE, the market leader in cloud-based contact center technology, is looking for an experienced Solution Engineering Director to lead an international team of and drive our CXone and Digital solutions into markets. The Director leads a team which works consultatively with prospects to identify their goals and business drivers and creatively design a solution that will meet the ever-growing demands of their contact center and Digital needs. This position would also support deep technical expertise associated with our CXone solutions, as well as lead and drive partners enablement.
How will you make an impact?
- Own Presales end-to-end: pipeline, solution strategy, POC governance, and win/loss review
- Lead on complex enterprise AI deals from first discovery through technical sign-off
- Design and oversee POCs — including data requirements, model evaluation, integration architecture, and results framing
- Coach Solutions Consultants on AI solutioning, technical storytelling, and commercial positioning
- Build repeatable playbooks, demo frameworks, and discovery guides specific to AI/ML products
- Feed structured field intelligence back into Product and GTM strategy
- Represent the company at industry events and in customer advisory conversations
Have you got what it takes?
- 12–16 years in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or Sales Engineering — 3+ years leading a team
- Last 2+ years hands-on in AI product Pre-Sales — not adjacent to it, in it
- Working knowledge of the AI stack: LLMs, embedding models, vector databases, inference costs, token economics, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and API-based AI services
- Able to scope and run technically rigorous POCs without needing an engineer to translate
- Commercial fluency around AI pricing models — tokens, compute, licensing, and total cost of ownership conversations with procurement and finance
- Deep experience with complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
- A coach who leads by doing — you get in the deal, run the discovery, fix the demo, then debrief the team on why
