Job Description Summary

The leader partners closely with Market Access, Revenue Management, Government Pricing, Legal, Compliance, Trade, Patient Support, Commercial Operations, and external consultants to develop and execute strategies that protect revenue, ensure compliance, and optimize business performance within the evolving 340B landscape. The role will start with 340B strategy but will also need to lead other policy assessments and biosimilar initiatives, be the point person for Market Access including Market Access Strategy, Payer/GPO Accounts, Government Pricing, and liaise with matrix functions such as Public Affairs, Legal, Regulatory

Position Location:

This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site.

Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely.  Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.

Major accountabilities:  

340B Strategy & Governance

• Develop and evaluate policy positions aligned with enterprise strategy, including market access, reimbursement, and regulatory frameworks 
• Monitor and assess changes in the healthcare, insurance, and reimbursement landscape, including legislative and regulatory developments 
• Analyse the business and patient impact of proposed legislation, regulations, and industry initiatives
• Report findings to senior leadership and drive decision-making on access and policy priorities.

Policy Assessment & Market Impact Analysis

• Assess federal and state legislative, regulatory, and reimbursement changes impacting commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, and 340B programs.
• Lead policy impact assessments and scenario modeling for proposed healthcare reforms.
• Translate policy developments into actionable business recommendations.
• Provide executive summaries and strategic insights to Finance, Market Access, and Commercial leaders.
• Support long-term forecasting and risk management related to reimbursement and access policy shifts.

Financial Risk Management

• Quantify financial exposure associated with duplicate discounts, diversion, contract pharmacy utilization, and policy changes.
• Lead analyses of rebate, chargeback, government pricing, and gross-to-net impacts.
• Develop monitoring processes to identify emerging risks and revenue leakage opportunities.
• Partner with Finance and Revenue Management teams on valuation of 340B strategies and initiatives.
• Establish performance metrics and reporting dashboards.

Compliance & Audit Oversight

• Oversee assessment of potential diversion and duplicate discount scenarios.
• Lead development and execution of manufacturer audit readiness programs.
• Coordinate investigations involving covered entities and contract pharmacies.
• Ensure adherence to HRSA requirements and industry best practices.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to manage regulatory inquiries and enforcement risks

Data, Analytics & Technology Enablement

• Drive implementation and optimization of 340B analytical solutions and platforms.
• Partner with IT and data teams to strengthen monitoring capabilities.
• Develop advanced analytics and reporting to identify trends, anomalies, and compliance risks.
• Leverage data-driven insights to support policy and contracting decisions.
• Guide automation initiatives that improve operational effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams supporting 340B strategy execution.
• Present recommendations to executive leadership committees.
• Influence key stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, Legal, Market Access, Government Pricing, and Compliance.
• Manage external consultants, auditors, and strategic partners.

Develop organizational capabilities related to 340B intelligence and policy evaluation

Key Performance Indicators:

• Reduction in 340B-related revenue leakage and duplicate discount exposure.
• Improved audit readiness and compliance posture.
• Timely policy impact assessments delivered to leadership.
• Increased visibility into 340B financial performance and risk.
• Successful implementation of strategic 340B initiatives and technology capabilities.
• Executive confidence in policy recommendations and decision

 What you’ll bring to the role:

Minimum Requirements:  

Education & Experience (Required):

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Business, or related field required
• MBA, MPH, PharmD, JD, or other advanced degree preferred

 

Work Experience: 

• 15+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical market access, government programs, healthcare policy, revenue management, government pricing, reimbursement, or compliance.
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Deep understanding of:
  • 340B Drug Pricing Program
  • Medicaid Drug Rebate Program
  • Government Pricing
  •   Gross-to-Net processes
  • Market Access contracting
  • Healthcare policy and regulatory frameworks
• Experience working with cross-functional executive leadership teams.
• Experience leading large-scale strategic initiatives and policy assessments

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $188,400–349,800 USD/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/26 through 12/31/26, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period.  Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
