Your role and impact
Here's a glimpse of your responsibilities and the meaningful impact you'll create as the Director, Pension Risk Transfer Pricing:
- Lead pricing and modeling of PRT deals, ensuring accurate liability assessments and competitive, risk-adjusted pricing strategies.
- Support the execution of transactions through participation in negotiations and due diligence processes.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including the enterprise Chief Actuary, Investment team, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to ensure alignment and robust deal evaluation.
- Develop and enhance AXIS models specific to pension risk transfer blocks and contribute to the automation and streamlining of valuation and pricing tools.
- Monitor market and regulatory developments in the pension de-risking space and provide strategic insights to senior management.
- Present deal analysis, risk assessments, and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Support post-close activities such as onboarding, data integrity reviews, and alignment of financial and operational reporting.

What sets you up for success
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
- ASA or FSA designation
- Minimum of 8 years of actuarial experience, including at least 3 years directly related to Pension Risk Transfer, defined benefit plan management, or group annuity products
- Proven experience in pricing, modeling, or executing PRT transactions, including working knowledge of regulatory, funding, and accounting frameworks (e.g., ERISA, PBGC, GAAP, STAT)
- Familiarity with pension plan design, liability analysis, and experience conducting or reviewing pension plan data and benefit calculations
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex ideas clearly and persuasively
