About Upfluence

Upfluence develops and sells an influencer marketing software worldwide. Our software allows brands and agencies to identify and contact millions of social influencers and bloggers at scale, as well as manage and analyze their influencer marketing campaigns. Since the launch of the software in October 2016, the company has shown an impressive growth rate and we are looking to expand even more. Our team is international and ever-growing, distributed between our offices in NYC, Los Angeles, Mexico, and Lyon.

 

What we expect from you

As the Director of Outbound, and reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will be the driving force behind our company's outbound marketing efforts, responsible for shaping, executing, and optimizing outbound marketing strategies. Your expertise will ensure that our outbound team consistently meets key metrics while building scalable systems for continued growth. We seek someone who thrives in strategy development, system building and automations, and who can take ownership of demand generation through outbound channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Outbound Strategy & Growth: Own and scale multi-channel outbound efforts (automated and SDR-led email, LinkedIn, ABM, cold outreach) to drive pipeline and revenue growth. Optimize persona-based targeting, outreach sequencing, and engagement tactics through AI-driven automation, A/B testing, and performance analytics.
  • KPI & Performance Optimization: Track and optimize outbound-sourced demo,  conversion rates, and pipeline velocity for predictable revenue impact. Align with demand gen and SDRs to ensure outbound efforts translate into revenue. 
  • Scalable Systems & Process Efficiency: Streamline lead management, automations, and workflow optimization to support productivity. Enhance systems and data tracking to prioritize high-converting prospects through real-time performance tracking and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • High-Performance Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a results-driven outbound team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Develop structured training, playbooks, and enablement programs to enhance execution and scalability.
  • Budget & Market Intelligence: Allocate resources efficiently, optimizing CAC and ROI for sustainable growth. Stay ahead of industry trends to refine outbound tactics and stay competitive.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product to ensure outbound efforts integrate seamlessly into the broader GTM strategy. Develop targeted outbound tactics to improve engagement and conversion.

 

This job is for you if:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in leading outbound marketing growth and managing outbound teams, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • You are tech-savvy; understanding of edge cases, Python scripts, APIs, a must. Highly skilled in building and scaling outbound systems and workflow, with a proven track record of delivering successful automated strategies.
  • You possess a strong data-driven mindset and can analyze outbound performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • You are innovative, proactive, and constantly seeking new ways to scale demand. 
  • You demonstrate exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with experience mentoring and coaching sales teams.
  • You are fluent in English, as we work primarily on the US market.
