The Director of Organic Growth is accountable for achieving defined organic census and revenue growth targets across RHAs Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) services. This highly visible, market-facing role identifies, develops, and converts growth opportunities by building strategic relationships with referral sources, state agencies, managed care organizations, hospitals, school systems, and community partners.
The Director serves as RHAs growth ambassador, proactively identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing service lines, increasing census, and strengthening RHAs presence in existing and emerging markets.
This position is designed for a highly motivated business development professional who thrives in a performance-driven environment. Compensation is heavily incentive-based and directly tied to measurable growth outcomes.
Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000, plus quarterly incentive

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and maintain an active pipeline of qualified organic growth opportunities sufficient to support established census and revenue targets.
  • Generate and convert new referrals and expand existing referral relationships.
  • Identify and advance opportunities for new homes, new programs, and service expansion.
  • Cultivate and leverage relationships with State agencies, MCOs, and other community partners to generate qualified growth opportunities.
  • Represent RHA throughout the IDD community.
  • Partner with Operations, Admissions, Clinical, and other internal leaders to remove barriers to admission and ensure viable growth opportunities successfully convert to services

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive business development, sales, market development, provider relations, or growth strategy experience, preferably in healthcare, human services, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success achieving measurable growth targets through relationship development, market expansion, referral generation, or new business acquisition.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Experience: Extensive experience within the intellectual and developmental disability space.

Preferred Certifications: TBD

Preferred Computer Applications/Platforms: Microsoft Office Products

  • Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
  • Drug testing
  • Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
  • Proof of employment history or references (if required)
  • Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
