We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, OPS Business Technology Liaison Manager to join our Total Wealth Services Ops team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Group Lead role reporting directly into Ops Lead for Wealth Services Platform.
- Manage small team of professionals overseeing asset movement operations change strategy.
- Responsible for defining, implementing, and executing the change strategy for asset movement operations while managing a small team of professionals.
- The asset movement function is high volume and spans end-to-end client account processing across wires, checks, ACH and account transfers.
- This function is critical to the Wealth client base, closely monitored as a key performance indicator, and measured as part of the Platform’s objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Elevate client service standards across the asset movement function by challenging the status quo and implementing improved ways of working.
- Priorities include extending processing timeframes where appropriate, scaling operations through AI4Ops and engineering-led solutions, and adopting a follow-the-sun operating model.
- As a new role, define the vision and mandate and build team from the ground up.
- Partner closely with Ops Leads overseeing run-the-bank asset movement operations to develop and deliver commercial plans, meet client mandates, and achieve financial budget targets, in close collaboration with Product and Finance.
- Role includes frequent interaction and engagement with external clients
- Contributes to the achievement of Wealth Services Platform and Operations Practice goals, objectives and OKRs.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10-15 years of total work experience.
- 1-3 years of management experience preferred.
- 5–7 years in management with a proven track record of execution and results in leadership roles across matrix of stakeholders highly preferred
- Brokerage dealer operations experience preferred.
- Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications required by the business.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting.
Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered.
