How you will contribute:

As a Director of Operations, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across our rapidly growing company. Your influence and impact will span all aspects of manufacturing, quality, and supply chain operations, ensuring we meet the increasing demand for our innovative products. This is an opportunity to shape the future of food and be part of a company that is redefining the plant-based food industry.

What you will be working on:

  • Drive operational excellence: As the business scales we must develop and institutionalize our operating processes. You will be the main driver of developing and implementing these systems to enable consistent and reliable execution of the manufacturing operation.
  • Scale production: You will work closely with other top leaders from the company to scale our manufacturing capabilities. Current plans are to more than 5X output in 2026 and even faster growth in 2027 with potentially a 2nd production site. To do this we must optimize our manufacturing operations, ensuring that we meet demand while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and product quality.
  • Data-driven decisions: You’ll implement metrics and KPIs that truly matter. We expect you to be deeply analytical, using data to identify opportunities, remove bottlenecks, and constantly improve our processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement: Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives that make us better every day—whether through process optimization, cost reduction, or new technology.
  • Develop the team: Build, lead, and mentor a world-class operations team. Your leadership will set the tone for how we operate at scale—both tactically and culturally.

What you bring to Plantible:

  • Proven experience as a leader with hands-on experience in manufacturing and supply chain management.
  • You have been part of a successful organization who scaled operations in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, ideally in food, biotech, or a similarly complex industry.
  • You’re deeply analytical, with a proven track record of using data to inform every decision.
  • You’re not afraid to get into the weeds. This is a hands-on role that requires strategic thinking and tactical execution.
  • You understand what it takes to build a scalable, resilient manufacturing operation.
  • You have experience leading and motivating high-performance teams. People follow you because they believe in what you’re building.
  • You’re excited to work in an environment where we challenge the status quo every day.
