- Maintain positive and constructive relationships with clients/customers and identify opportunities for increase revenue/profit.
- Oversee the Operations Supervisors in the development and monitoring of the annual operating budget for the commercial facility.
- Ensure the statements of work are compatible with operating capacities or develop the plans to increase operational capabilities of the facility.
- Oversee all warehouse safety, good housekeeping and ensure all warehouse SOPs are being followed.
- Holds management and employees accountable to the company’s culture and values.
- Assists in the preparation of capital expenditure requests for projects.
- Develops and leads planning, design, implementation, communication, and delivery of the company’s logistics initiatives for commercial facility.
- Works with the National Director of Operations, Managers and Supervisors on supporting company and group initiatives, assisting with change management, tracking key performance indicators, and monitoring the implementation of strategic business or project plans to ensure consistent execution.
- Maintain good communication with Senior Leadership to ensure smooth running of production.
- Compile daily productivity and reliability statistics as needed.
- Recommend or implement measures to improve Operations methods and motivate employees.
- Track the efficacy of various initiatives and help implement the appropriate reporting and metrics to ensure desired results are being achieved.
- Ensure building is secured during schedules hours.
- Travel to other LifeScience Logistics locations, as needed.
- Special projects as assigned by Senior Management.
- Manage all aspects of a multi-site operation, if required.
Qualifications and Job Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a scientific field plus a minimum of 8 years related experience in pharmaceuticals manufacturing, medical device manufacturing or a related environment with a combined minimum of 5 years management experience. Master’s degree (MS or MBA) preferred.
- 3-5 Years warehouse management experience in receiving, storing, issuing, and accounting for property in a warehouse required.
- Working knowledge of an ERP system (preferably Oracle) required.
- Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and warehouse management strategies.
- Strong working knowledge and application of contemporary warehouse automation solutions and technologies.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite specifically Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Strong leadership, team building, organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical competency.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and ascertain what problems and issues should be escalated to Senior Management. Ability to think strategically.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and customers.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Professional dress is required.

- Highly-knowledgeable with current FDA and DEA regulations.
