Job Purpose:
Our Director of Operations will be responsible for leading daily operations, driving safety, quality, and efficiency across all production areas. This role oversees operational strategy, continuous improvement, and team development to ensure alignment with business objectives and long-term growth.Job Responsibilities:
● Lead day-to-day operations while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements.● Drive operational excellence through process improvement, resource optimization, and cost control.
● Implement and monitor performance metrics to ensure production goals and service standards are met.
● Partner with leadership to develop and execute operational strategies that support company objectives.
● Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring adherence to fiscal targets and investment goals.
● Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all operational functions.
● Develop, coach, and mentor operational leaders and teams to enhance capability and performance.
● Partner with EHS, Quality, Procurement, and HR to maintain compliance, mitigate risks, and strengthen collaboration.
● Lead change management initiatives and support innovation to improve operational efficiency.
● Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
● Ability to identify and execute process improvement and cost-savings initiatives.
● Ability to manage budgets and apply sound financial judgment.
● Ability to influence and build strong stakeholder relationships.
● Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and operational excellence practices.
Work Experience:
● 5-10 years of related experience of successful management or supervisory experience within a large or national organization strongly preferred.● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.Education:
● Bachelor's Degree Preferred - Business Administration/Management● Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - 6sigma/IASSCWhat We Offer
