MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage digital, static and experiential installations and repairs in the NY area, including fleet communication, overseeing the NY shop team and coordinating inventory with the hardware team.
- Oversee display and parts inventory allocation for NY, report internally and external and execute inventory plans.
- Manage parts and warranty management in coordination with the Hardware Team.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with staffing agencies, body shops, select fleet operators, fabricators and international partners.
- Project manage market launches, pop-ups and scale-ups, including resource planning, parts/display allocation, scheduling, and financial tracking (budget approvals, spending actuals).
- Collaborate with Engineering to test and implement display improvements/changes.
- Manage shipment coordination of parts, including obtaining quotes, scheduling shipments and working with vendors.
- Lead service process development, improvement and tracking, including creating playbooks, defining metrics, and establishing contingency plans for day-to-day operations.
- Lead and manage the NY field operations team, including payroll, expense reports, PTO, and overall performance oversight. Recruit, hire, and onboard new technicians.
- Lead by example - fostering team growth, providing regular feedback and mentoring team members.
- Develop deep technical knowledge of Firefly’s products, service systems, processes and procedures.
- Continuously analyze and improve operational performance, ensure daily execution aligns with business goals in productivity, quality, cost efficiency and revenue/margin.
- Excel in high-pressure and fast-paced environments, demonstrating strong prioritization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Develop deep technical knowledge of Firefly’s products, service systems, processes and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of experience in automotive electrical work, fleet maintenance or digital signage installations with at least 2 years in a “Team Lead” role.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in basic software tools, spreadsheets and service tracking platforms.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in outdoor environments and perform hands-on technical tasks.
- Fast learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
