The Director collaborates with physicians, nursing leaders, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders to develop and execute strategic initiatives that improve patient outcomes, enhance caregiver experience, optimize operational performance, and support Mercy's mission, vision, values, and service standards.Position Details:

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required. If hired candidate has nursing degree, must be licensed as an RN in the state of Missouri.
  • Master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related healthcare field preferred.

Experience

  • Five (5) years of progressive healthcare leadership experience with demonstrated responsibility for clinical operations, nursing leadership, financial management, and strategic planning.
  • Experience leading multiple departments, service lines, or cost centers in acute care and/or ambulatory settings.
  • Demonstrated success in physician partnership, caregiver engagement, operational improvement, and quality outcomes.

  • Strong clinical and operational leadership capabilities.
  • Knowledge of women's and children's healthcare services, including obstetrics, neonatal care, pediatrics, and ambulatory operations.
