The Role:
In support of the rapidly expanding Semiconductor ecosystem in North America, Entegris is seeking an energetic, innovative and experienced Senior Project Director with proven capital project management skills to lead the construction and startup of the second phase of a large multi divisional high-tech state of the art manufacturing facility in Colorado Springs, CO.
This world class facility will produce advanced components and systems required by worldwide leaders in the semiconductor industry. With the fast pace of innovation in the semiconductor industry, you must be capable of hands-on leadership and management of this critical and complex project, in a rapidly changing high energy environment. The Senior Project Director will interact with Senior and Executive management across multiple business units and divisions, covering all phases of the project, from business planning, engineering, scope and cost estimate development, coordination of sourcing activities, design reviews, construction through start up.
In this role you will:

Build, develop and coach an effective and high performing project execution team, including Entegris team members, EPC partners and local, state and federal government stakeholders

Lead the day to day management of the project, including detailed design, bid, procurement, execution partner selection and construction of the facility

Provide regular updates and communication to key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure successful project execution

Facilitate cross divisional and business unit interfaces between Engineering, Manufacturing, site procurement, suppliers, customers and other key functional groups

Lead and facilitate formal project and technical risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans to ensure flawless project execution

Facilitate regular project updates and lead reviews to ensure scope, schedule and budget expectations are met

Facilitate and engage with local, state and federal stakeholders and interested parties, to ensure critical funding milestones and commitments are realized
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
-
At least 15 years related work experience as a Project Manager, with large facilities project focus, including design, bid, build and management of large and complex EPC contracts

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or similar technical field; PMP certification preferred

Demonstrated project management experience, showing increasing responsibilities within a global, multicultural, organization

Ability to handle multiple projects/priorities/stakeholders with minimal supervision, under challenging conditions

Strong oral, written, and presentation skills

Effective facilitator and coach

Ability to deal with ambiguity

Ability to quickly evaluate the quality of work performed by outside professionals and contractors

Experience working effectively with local, state and federal government agencies

Proficiency in MS Office/Project tools

Some domestic and international travel may be required

Knowledge of the semiconductor / advanced manufacturing industry
