Job Description:
This position is responsible for leading BU Cell Manager, Production Manager, and New Product Manager (NPI) to satisfy customer’s requirements: New product launch, order management, quality achievement, shipment and revenue performance. To achieve P/L goal by properly resource arrangement, production and inventory management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
Provides input to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products.
Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
Coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
Develop operational procedures and standards to achieve business goals.
Develop budget plans to control expense and meet cost objectives.
Develop strategic plans to improve operational efficiency.
Schedule monthly meetings to discuss about concerns, budgets and business improvements.
Assist in development and delivery of all client projects.
Manage staffing requirement and assignment for client projects.
Provide support and guidance to operations team as and when needed.
Monitor performance metrics and evaluate operational effectiveness.
Ensure that operations team follows safety and security procedures.
Responsible for implementing programs to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and the requirements of the RBA
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
SMT Experience and knowledge required
Risk Assessment and Mitigation skills recommended.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience preferred
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills
Proven ability to function independently and multi-task
Must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of manufacturing experience required.
Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration with 5 years experience will be considered.
Experience with cost accounting is a plus.
