Summary: 

This role ensures the efficient production of machined components while maintaining compliance with aerospace industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations. The Director of Operations drives operational excellence through strategic planning, team leadership, process optimization, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.


Essential Functions:

  • Full control of Profit and Loss of the two business units
  • Responsible for preparation and presentation of budget plans with the assistance of Sales and Finance departments
  • Responsible for capacity planning, capital investments, and staffing to support business plans
  • Reviews monthly product overall costs and make adjustments as required to meet budgeted standards
  • Reviews parts non-quality activity weekly, identify negative trends, opportunities for improvement and corrective action through the involvement of Engineering and Manufacturing supervisors
  • Defines yearly goals for the business unit and reviews progress every quarter
  • Analyzes division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocates operating budget.
  • Through weekly and monthly reports monitor productivity and efficiencies by the department and correct with the production and engineering team as necessary
  • Maintain customer schedules and communication of work progress
  • Represents the company as needed during customer visits and presentations
  • Perform other related duties or responsibilities as requested or required.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or other related field required
  • High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s
  • 5+ years of experience
