GrayWolf Modular develops and delivers modular solutions that significantly enhance predictability and scale for the construction of our clients' key infrastructures and facilities. The group is focused on the data-center and advanced manufacturing space by specializing in E-houses, CDUs, CUBs, White Space, Modular Data Centers, and other modular products for these markets. We offer end-to-end services to develop, design, procure, manufacture, and commission these modular products to meet client requirements. 

Position Value Proposition:

The Director of Operations will oversee all operational aspects of GrayWolf Modular’s modular data center projects, ensuring execution aligns with strategic business objectives. This role requires a strong background in modular construction, supply chain management, and operational leadership. The Director of Operations will drive efficiencies in manufacturing, logistics, and project execution, ensuring quality and timely delivery of modular data center solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations, including manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and project execution.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Oversee project management teams to ensure timely delivery of modular data centers, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement processes, and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless production and delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and sales teams to align operations with client needs and company objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence within the organization.
  • Support business development initiatives by providing operational insights and cost-effective solutions for potential projects.

Required qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) to perform essential functions of this position:

I. Work Experience

  • 20+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within modular construction, data centers, or infrastructure development.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale modular or prefabricated construction projects.
  • Strong expertise in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to foster collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational efficiency methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed to project sites, vendor locations, and company facilities.

II. Education/Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

III. Work Environment


This position is generally indoors in a climate-controlled office.  However, frequent visitations to project sites, vendor locations, and company facilities may be required.
