Position SummaryThe Director, Operational Technology & Enablement is responsible for leading cross functional initiatives that support business development, operational excellence and technology optimization. This role will support RFP responses, oversee project implementations and ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of operational systems and processes supporting the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership (SGEP) program. This role oversees the deployment, stability, and optimization of critical operational programs across SGEP sites and ensures systems function consistently and effectively to support business needs and future growth.
Key Accountabilities
Operational Technology Reliability
Ensure operational systems function reliably across all SGEP sites
Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential operational disruptions
Lead incident response and coordinate cross-functional teams during system outages or critical operational issues
Establish escalation protocols and resolution processes to ensure rapid recovery and minimal operational impact
Serve as the primary escalation point for operational technology issues impacting site performance
Technology Governance & Standardization
Oversee configuration, deployment, and standardization of operational platforms including SciTrak, WMS, pick-and-pack/sortation automation systems, and NICE inContact
Ensure consistent system configuration, implementation, and best practices across sites
Partner with product and software development teams on system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements
Maintain documentation and standards that support scalable deployment of operational technology across the SGEP network
Program Leadership & Site Launches
Lead operational technology readiness for new contract implementations, extensions, and facility startups
Manage cross-functional implementation plans including system deployment, testing, and launch readiness
Coordinate operational teams, vendors, and technology partners to ensure successful program launches
RFP Support & Solution Design
Support development of operational and technology components for RFP responses and competitive bids
Partner with commercial and operations leadership to design scalable operational solutions for new customers
Translate operational capabilities and system infrastructure into competitive and effective solution proposals
Leadership
Manage and mentor the Technical Operations Specialist
Establish processes for system monitoring, issue resolution, program enhancements and related documentation
Develop scalable operational technology support and processes as the SGEP program continues to grow

QualificationsEducation
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Required
7+ years of experience in operational technology, systems management, or program leadership
Experience supporting multi-site operational environments
Experience with P&L management
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technology or operational initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical issues into operational impact
Strong communication and stakeholder management across operations, technology, and commercial teams
Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-moving operational environment hitting deadlines
Ability to travel if needed.
Preferred
Experience supporting automation, fulfillment, 3rd party logistics (3PL), or production environments
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), automation systems, or operational software platforms
Experience supporting RFP responses or operational solution design
Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure
PMP certification or equivalent project/program management experience
