About the Role

We are looking for a Director of OEM Partnerships to lead and grow our OEM business. This role owns the strategy, performance, and long-term success of key OEM relationships while serving as the business leader for the entire OEM channel.

You will be responsible for financial performance, partner relationships, sales strategy, pricing, product direction, and operational execution. Success in this role requires someone who can think strategically, influence across teams, build trusted customer relationships, and drive measurable business results.

This is a highly visible leadership position with direct impact on company growth.

What You'll Do

Business Leadership

  • Own the overall OEM business strategy and growth plan
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and financial performance for the OEM channel
  • Define key performance indicators and report results to leadership and partners
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with OEM customers and stakeholders
  • Balance growth, profitability, and operational priorities to achieve business goals

OEM Partnerships and Customer Success

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner for OEM accounts
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business models, goals, and challenges
  • Identify opportunities to expand business and strengthen partnerships
  • Lead critical customer conversations and resolve high-impact issues
  • Support joint business planning and long-term account growth strategies

Sales Enablement and Business Development

  • Develop a strong understanding of the fire sprinkler system products market
  • Partner with OEM sales teams to communicate value and support growth initiatives
  • Lead product, application, and sales training for OEM partners
  • Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and technical discussions
  • Create and improve tools and resources that help OEM teams sell successfully

Operations and Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Oversee the OEM business process from sales enablement through post-sale support
  • Lead forecasting and demand planning activities for OEM accounts
  • Partner across operations, engineering, finance, marketing, and customer support teams
  • Drive improvements that increase efficiency, service levels, and business performance
  • Act as the final escalation point for critical customer and operational issues

Product and Pricing Strategy

  • Own product and offering strategy for OEM customers
  • Partner with Finance to establish pricing strategies and profitability targets
  • Approve pricing decisions and commercial proposals
  • Ensure product information and business records remain accurate and current
Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive business leadership experience
  • Experience owning a business, function, product line, or major initiative with measurable results
  • Strong background in financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and pricing
  • Experience developing and executing B2B sales strategies
  • Ability to influence and lead across multiple functions without direct authority
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with global teams and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive business outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building products, industrial products, or technical solutions businesses
  • OEM, channel management, or strategic partnership experience
  • Product portfolio management experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and organizational change
  • Background supporting technically complex products and solutions

Work Environment

  • Primarily on-site in Maryland Heights, Missouri
  • Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support for international partners
