Director of Nursing - Nursing Home

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents. This leadership role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment committed to excellence in elder care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and coordinate all nursing operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations

- Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to promote quality resident care

- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for residents

- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of resident health information

- Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation effectively

- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff

- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in nursing home care

Skills and Qualifications:

- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or long-term care facility

- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing nursing home operations

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team effectively

- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to elder care

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
