Aston Park is seeking to hire a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff.
- Oversee the delivery of quality care to patients/residents in various healthcare settings.
- Manage and coordinate nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines, including Medicare regulations.
- Review and analyze documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff
Stay updated on current trends and advancements in nursing practice.
Qualifications (Minimum Job Requirements)
- Valid nursing license in the state of employment
- Degree in nursing or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
Experience: Preferred prior experience in geriatric nursing; previous supervisory experience.
Specific skills/abilities:
- RN license, currently licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina.
- Certified or able to be certified in CPR.
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of nurses.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay and Benefits:
- Base pay will depend upon experience.
- $10,000 Sign-on bonus for benefited positions (Paid out in increments over two years of employment)
- Daily Pay available. Access to earned pay on a daily basis prior to the normal pay date.
