Volare Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical team at our skilled nursing facility Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass, OR. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the Nursing Services Department
- Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Manage department budgets including staffing, equipment, and supplies
- Support and mentor nursing staff to ensure clinical excellence
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Respond efficiently in urgent and emergency situations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon
- BSN preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing leadership experience
- Minimum of 1+ years experience in the Skilled nursing setting
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitative, restorative, and long-term care practices
- Excellent communication, team-building, and organizational skills
