WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role will directly report to Sir Director, Planning (Korea DSM Lead) based in Korea and closely work with internal planning groups including EBP (Enterprise Business Planning), IO (Inventory Operations) and ND-O Planning (NDDC, NSO, NVS) in DSM (Demand and Supply Management) and with external x-functional teams including NSP (Nike Stores Partnered), NMP (Nike Marketplace Partners) Marketplace, Finance, Merchandising and MSC (Marketplace Supply Chain) teams. This role will also collaborate with Central Planning and Consumer Planning teams in Geo DSM and work with MFP (Merch Financial Planning) and AP (Assortment Planning) teams in NSP/NMP Planning team as a team manager
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for the candidate who can lead/drive strategic growth of CFoP (Consumer Field of Play), ensuring plans meet channel/MPU (Marketplace Unit)/partner goal and objectives and fulfil consumer demands in the marketplace, and this candidate should also maximize business opportunity and performance potential across marketplace through consumer-led and driver-based planning excellence.
- 10+ years of experience in Planning, Merchandising and Retail/Sales, and closely related field to bachelor’s degree in business administration or related fields
- Extensive knowledge and understanding in Consumer, Product and Marketplace
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding in retail metrics/math (stock & sales planning, gross to net planning, liquidation planning)
- Excellent financial decision-making ability through enterprise mindset and E2E planning POV
- Ability to think strategically to create and align mid to long term growth strategy with x-functional leaders
- Experienced leadership to influence x-functional teams to orchestrate and manage complexities of work, delivering the goals with optimism
- People (team) management experience preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (fluency in English and Korean), with ability to clearly articulate plans and results with story telling
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will be responsible for all the monthly / seasonal / yearly planning activities for NSP and NMP MPUs through MFP (Merch Financial Planning) tops down financial planning and AP (Assortment Planning) bottoms up depth planning to achieve revenue, margin, and inventory targets as well as mutually profitable and sustainable growth for Nike and our partners, leading :
MFP (Merch Financial Planning) - Lead/drive MFP E2E tops down CFoP X Marketplace rolling forecast process across seasons 1-4
- Seasonal tops-down CFoP planning for NSP & NMP (channel x MPU)
- RSV (Retail Sales Value), inventory, and investment (revenue) planning to achieve financial targets based on marketplace (channel/MPU) capacity
- In-season optimization to drive healthy and productive inventory, driven by Stock & Sales and Gross to Net planning and management
AP (Assortment Planning) - Lead/drive AP E2E bottoms up depth plans for prioritized CFoP and Key franchises/classifications to aligned to retail sales, margin, and inventory plans from MFP
- Key franchises / classifications bottoms-up depth planning aligned to CFoP RSV, inventory and investment plans partnering with Merchandising, MFP and MPUs
- Franchise in-season management / optimization planning & execution through Read & Act
