Position Summary
The Director, Network Operations plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company’s Information Technology functions. The role is primarily responsible, under intermittent to little supervision, for developing and maintaining all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. He or she provides recommendations for architecture, system upgrades, patches, new applications, and new equipment for the organization.
Compensation
This role is an exempt position with a targeted salary range of $120,000 to $180,000 annually.
Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.
Essential Functions
- Manage network and system admin, along with project managers and coordinators to ensure seamless tech services are provided during branch openings, relocations, and closings.
- Manage all aspects for the network design and configuration, including security aspects.
- Manage the provisioning and disconnects of voice/data circuits, along with upgrades and cost control.
- Maintain and enhance SASE zero capabilities and network security trust.
- Oversee Network Micro segmentation.
- Manage cloud network environments ensuring proper security best practices.
- Ensure the adequate deployment of LAN/WAN networking equipment.
- Ensure the adequate deployment of telecommunications hardware, including IP PBX/hosted VOIP.
- Visit site locations for large-scale deployments and acquisitions as needed.
- Manage network administration of Cisco Webex/UC call center.
- Manage and monitor network security access and user access.
- Provide high level network support and consult with vendors on troubleshooting and projects.
- Manage, configure, monitor, and report on firewall/DMZ.
- Ensure proper documentation and tasks related to SSAE, SOX and other audits are completed.
- Manage network integration; provide IBM i series support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Manage and maintain email routing configuration; provide troubleshooting support when needed.
- Manage and maintain wireless network configuration; provide troubleshooting support when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent computer-related Degree from a technical school, or similar training.
- Minimum seven years total experience in network administration related role(s).
- Minimum three years supervisory or leadership experience.
- Expert level knowledge of technical equipment and systems.
- Prior experience in roles related to IT disaster recovery/business continuity planning and recovery required.
